The Cititel is in a great location. The rooms are always clean and in good condition. The staff are always friendly and helpful, especially Bani on the front reception desk. The sea views are spectacular.

Superb location, awesome views and full of sunlight. Good location. Close accessible to market, food stalls and eateries. Walking distance to famous locations. We were given an early check in by 12.30pm as we arrived by morning flight, which helped us to recuperate. Good bathroom, nice shower with tub. Comfortable beds and fresh bedsheets. Ample furniture to keep bags and work around. In short it was value for money.

We arrived around 1pm, 2 hrs earlier than the check-in time. My mom has a bad knee and my dad also limping. We booked for connecting rooms. The lady did all she can to prioritize the room prep and we got the keycards in 15 minutes. Hats off to the lady. My bad not getting her name but she is wearing a hijab. Huge thank you to you! Also the bell boy, the door and lobby staff, omelet and Pratha lady at breakfast, all of them makes me and my family feels welcome. Massive gratitude to the whole team. Overall, wonderful staff, clean room, good breakfast, great location. Its walking distance to the heritage walk area. This is my new favorite hotel in Penang.

-The hotel lobby itself was big and spacious with several attentive staff members. There was also 3 flavourful welcome drinks - all made with local natural ingredients. -I was placed on the 7th floor corner room, and the view from my room was simply amazing - city view & the sea view -The room was big and clean with a prominent wardrobe and several other cabinets -Big comfortable bed with extra pillows in the wardrobe -The hotel uses refillable water bottles - but done right - the bottles are large, and the refill station was placed very near the room. The best bit - bottle refill is automatic and fast (couple of seconds!)

Breakfast Experience - The buffet breakfast was spectacular! Ms. Evelyn's exceptional management ensured a seamless experience. The diverse spread included international and local delicacies, catering to varied tastes. 3. Good Location - Center of George Town, walkable distance to The Top Komtar, Pinang Peranakan Mansion, Armenian street and The Street Arts.

This is not our first time here. We love the welcoming lobby and lovely decorations. Cititel always give us warm feeling like being at home. Love the nutmeg welcome drink. Yummy...The room is clean, cozy and carefully decorated with adequate facilities for our convenience. The staff are very friendly and helpful, from reception, concierge, housekeeping and restaurant staff. Zabidi sent our bags up and took time to show us about the aircond, fan, prayer mat, etc. We especially adore Evelyn's dedication @ Main Street Cafe during breakfast. She made every guest feel welcome and at home. She took time to chat with us on our way out and give suggestions on places to go around Penang. On our last day, she even asked if we need coffee to go. Such a thoughtful gesture that touch our hearts. Well done to the management who trained your staff well. Thanks for making our stay a wonderful memory, again. We will definitely come back to Cititel for our next trip. Thank you.

We were warmly welcomed back by Asst manager Suzannah and Ruby when we checked in. It felt like visiting friends in Penang. I had a lovely handwritten birthday card from Suzannah with a box of pastries sent to our room. I was really surprised! I didn't get a chance to thank her for the kind gesture! During checkout, manager Soon Hock was with Ruby and they were so friendly and Soon Hock checked if we had a good stay. We mentioned a minor issue and he was instantly apologetic and very sincere about that. We really appreciate Cititel's lovely staff! Thank you once again for making our stay so nice!

Check in : superb . We booked standard room, but Cititel upgraded to the Superior room. Thank you . Breakfast : really enjoy the food. The food really good. I love the miso soup.my husband like roti canai & nasi lemak. So sedap. Definitely worth the price. Staff : superb . Very nice . Always smile. I only remember staff Aini during our check in . Thank you for your service. One more staff during breakfast , i dont remember her name ( chinese staff) ,very kind of you .thank you. The others staff also so generous . Room : we love it cause can see the sea view. No complain. Will repeat again . Cititel is our fav hotel in Penang 😍.

Location was excellent. Near Chulia Street and good transport links to the rest of the island. Room: On 19th floor with views over the sea. Good sound insulation, could not hear neighbours. Very clean. Bathroom had a good shower and toiletries provided. Bed was large and very comfortable with good quality linen. Common areas of hotel: Lots of comfortable seating on ground floor for guests. Two restaurants and a wellness suite with indoor swimming pool. Everything was tastefully decorated. Good that the hotel has it's own drive so that taxis can pull up with ease outside.
